By Subway:
- Take the 1 train to the Franklin Street stop. Walk east on Franklin Street not even 1/2 a block. The Academy is on the right side of street, practically visible from the subway exit.
- Take the 2/3 train to the Chambers Street stop. Walk north towards Franklin Street. Take a right on Franklin Street. The Academy is on the right side of the street.
- Take the A,C, or E train to the Canal Street stop. Exit toward Walker Street. Walk south on 6th Ave towards Franklin Street. Take a right on Franklin Street. The Academy is on the left side of the street next to Steven Allen.

Getting to NYC (Airport Information):

If you want to fly the friendly skies, choose LaGuardia Airport (airport code: LGA) or JFK Airport (airport code: JFK) as your final desitination. (Newark Airport in New Jersey is a bit far and inconvenient. Unless you've gotten an amazing deal and don't mind the heavy cab fare, don't bother). Try using Expedia, Travelocity, or Hotwire for flight deals, or use those Skymiles you've been racking up!

There are Taxi Stands at the arrival terminals to help get a cab for you, which can take you into the city. The average price is approximately $45, but it will make finding your way the into city much easier.

For the adventurous, one can take a bus from the airport to the subway, or directly into the city. They come pretty frequently, and are usually rather empty at the airport stops. Bus fare is $2.00, and use exact change, so be sure to bring those spare coins.
